Restoring the Sanctity of Life

I support the sanctity of human life, and I believe strongly that every child is wanted by people just like me who are willing to adopt children who would otherwise be aborted. We need laws in Sacramento that encourage adoption not encourage taxpayer funded abortions even in the third trimester of pregnancy.

As a mother, I strongly believe that parents must be informed if a potentially life threatening medical procedure is being performed on their daughter, particularly since school officials cannot even give aspirin to the same girl without parental permission.

Californians support reasonable restrictions on abortion like parental notification, ending the barbaric practice of partial birth abortion, third trimester abortion, and ending multiple taxpayer funded abortions in the same calendar year. We can agree on these reasonable restrictions on abortion while we work to assist women in crisis pregnancies, improve adoption procedures and restore a culture that values all human life, from the womb to the end of life.
